Does the Devil actually wear Prada? With these box office earnings, it can definitely afford to.
Since its release on 1 May 2026, The Devil Wears Prada 2 has already out-grossed the original film’s $326M box office total in just nine days. (Information courtesty of: Deadline)

With Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt each reportedly paid $12.5M to reprise their iconic roles, it’s safe to say the trio have made quite the return on investment. And given those numbers, we wouldn’t bet against the whispers of a third film staying quiet for very long.
Speaking to People Magazine, the trio were asked what it would take to bring them back for a third film. The answer was simple. Streep was quick with her response, saying it all comes down to the script, with Blunt echoing that sentiment. Hathaway added that everyone would need to be on board, with Blunt specifying that means the “core four”, referring to herself, Streep, Hathaway and Stanley Tucci, who also returns in the sequel.
As for Streep’s most important condition? “They have to be alive.”
